User Import from Active Directory

This is where administrators/IT personnel can set up users from Active Directory.

• Select a group from their Active Directory users from the Select a Group dropdown list. This will populate the list of groups of which the user is a member.
• Select the Users to import by checking the box(es) by the user names.
• Select a User Group from theMeals Plus user groups to import the users into from the Set the User Group dropdown list.
• Click Create.
  • These users will now use their Active Directory User Name and Password to sign into Meals Plus, so no password will display in their User Setup profile.

How to Log In when Active Directory is Set Up

The Meals Plus Log In screen has a Use Active Directory checkbox. When using Active Directory logins, check this box and customers will sign in with their Active Directory credentials.

This checkbox only appears after the Active Directory information is entered in System Management: Control Information.

• Users will enter this Active Directory User Name and Password and click Sign In.
  • When this box is checked, the Password field maximum length is removed.
  • Additionally, when the Touch Screen On is clicked, your Windows keyboard will display since Active Directory passwords are case sensitive.
